Produced by Bodega Mustiguillo, the wine Mestizaje is an appealing Spanish red wine from the VT El Terrerazo, in the sunny province of Valencia.
Produced in a pristine environment, amidst a wonderful Mediterranean forest located at an altitude of 800 metres above sea level, this certified organic wine is made from a blend of the indigenous Bobal, alongside Grenache and Syrah.
Harvested by hand and separately vinified according to the variety and the plot of origin, the grapes were destemmed, gently crushed and cold-soaked prior to fermentation.
After fermenting in stainless steel tanks and 80-hectolitre oak vats, the wine Mestizaje 2021 was blended and went through malolactic fermentation. Finally, this vegan wine was aged for 10 months in the vats and in French oak barrels.
You should decant this red wine from Valencia a minimum of 30 minutes before you drink it.
