The entry-level Spanish white wine of the Adegas Valmiñor winery, the wine Minius comes from the Salnés valley, DO Monterrei.
A varietal Godello, this young white wine was produced from over 40-year-old vineyards.
Selected on site and in the cellar, the grapes were destemmed and cold soaked for 3 to 4 hours. After that, the wine was fermented in stainless steel tanks.
Stabilized and gently filtered, the white wine Minius 2023 remained in the cellar for 30 days prior to its commercial release.
Pair this white wine from Galicia with shrimp and light dishes, or drink without food.

Minius again
Galician whites are my favourites. Not everything breaks down to albarino, though. Godellos are quite interesting too.
