Cava Oriol Rossell Mític 1908 Gran Reserva Brut Nature 2015
Availability: In stock
Belonging to the DO Cava, this Spanish sparkling wine was made from over 50-year-old vines located in the heart of Penedès.
Hand-harvested, the grapes were selected on site and on arriving at the cellar. Crafted only from the free-run juice, the two varieties of this Cava Brut Gran Reserva were fermented in stainless steel tanks.
After that, the base wine was aged for 4 months in the tanks, and then it was blended and bottled. Finally, Oriol Rossell Mític 1908 Gran Reserva Brut Nature 2015 was aged for a minimum of 36 months in the bottle. The disgorging date is printed on the back label.
Clean and bright, Oriol Rossell Mític 1908 Gran Reserva Brut Nature is wax yellow with some golden tinges.
This blend of Xarel·lo and Macabeo begins showing some citrusy and leesy notes, which evolve into aromas of pastry, dry fruit and toast, nuanced by aromatic herbs, grape fruit and flowers.
Structured and substantial, this Cava of bodega Oriol Rossell shows an excellent balance, with tiny bubbles, a crisp acidity and good definition. Smooth textured, with a long, creamy finish with a toasted and citrusy tang.
