Appearance

The wine Otazu Chardonnay is medium yellow with some steely tinges.

Nose

This varietal Chardonnay from Navarra shows lively aromas of green apples, tropical fruit and citrus over a background of white flowers and aromatic herbs.

Palate

This is indeed a savoury and delicately unctuous young white wine from the Señorío de Otazu winery. Apples, pears and pineapples combine with aniseed and some buttery notions. Good acidity and medium finish.

Enjoyable. No oak ageing, so the wine is very fresh. Lovely aromas of fruits and flowers.
