This is a modest, yet critically acclaimed Spanish red wine produced by Bodegas Paco García in DOCa Rioja.
A varietal Tempranillo, the wine Paco García Seis is a single parcel wine. It is made exclusively from grapes coming from Paraje del Seis, a plot planted in 2007, in clayey-limestone soils, at an altitude of 510 metres above sea level.
Handpicked and carefully selected, the grapes were meticulously vinified and aged for 6 months in lightly toasted, 2nd year French oak barrels.
It is always a pleasure to drink an honest, judiciously oaked Tempranillo from La Rioja such as the red wine Paco García Seis 2024.
