Produced by the Terra d'Uro winery, Terra d'Uro La Enfermera is an expressive Spanish red wine from Toro.
This varietal Tinta de Toro is made from young, 15-year-old vines planted on limestone and rocky soils at an altitude of 800 metres. The plants are farmed following the guidelines of organic agriculture.
After a manual harvest, the grapes were cold-macerated and fermented in stainless steel tanks.
Then half of the wine Terra d'Uro La Enfermera 2021 was aged in French and American oak barrels for 4 months. The rest remains in stainless steel tanks.
