A varietal Tinta de Toro, Terra d'Uro Selección is produced by bodega Hacienda Terra d’Uro in the region of Toro.
It must be mentioned that this Spanish red wine was sourced from prephylloxeric vineyards almost 150 years old, planted at 750 metres of altitude. The ungrafted bushvines are organically farmed.
Hand-harvested, the grapes were selected and then fermented in 5,000-litre wooden vats. Then Terra d’Uro Selección 2019 was transferred into new French oak barrels, where it went through malolactic fermentation and was subsequently aged for 20 months.
