Produced by Bodega Tesalia in the Andalusian town of Arcos de la Frontera, VT Cádiz, the red wine Tesalia Arx is made from vines located on the foothills of Sierra de Grazalema, in a privileged area which receives the cooling influence of both the Mediterranean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean.
The 2021 vintage of this Spanish red wine is made essentially from Tintilla de Rota and Syrah, with a small amount of Petit Verdot and Cabernet Sauvignon.
The grapes were picked up by hand at night. Once in the cellar, they were cold-macerated for 4 days to preserve the organoleptic compounds of the fruit. The alcoholic fermentation of this Crianza red wine went on for about 20 days. Each grape variety was fermented separately.
After that, the red wine Tesalia Arx 2021 was aged for 12 months in French oak barrels before being bottled.
Cheerful and intense, this red wine from Cádiz is an excellent value.
