A varietal Tinto Fino (Tempranillo), the wine Valduero Una Cepa is produced by Bodegas Valduero from a single parcel of vines.
Farmed following organic principles, the 50-year-old vineyard has rather special characteristics. That's why the winery decided to produce a Spanish red winesolely from its grapes.
Harvested by hand, the grapes were brought to the cellar in little boxes and vinified in stainless steel tanks. After that, this red wine from Ribera del Duero was aged in French and American oak barrels for 18 months.
Finally, the red wine Valduero Una Cepa 2020 was aged for a further 12 months in the bottle.
