Product Description
Details

Produced by the Martí Fabra winery, the wine Verd Albera is made from White Grenache, Macabeo, Muscat, Grey Grenache and Chardonnay.

The vines grow in the rugged, remote mountains of Serra d'Albera, a mountain range located in DO Empordà, on the southern side of the Catalan-French border.

Fermentation of this white wine from L'Empordà took place in concrete tanks.

After that, the white wine Verd Albera 2023 was kept in contact with its lees for 9 months.

Pair this Spanish white wine with shrimp, cheese and rice dishes.

Appearance

Clean and bright, the white wine Verd Albera is medium straw with a greenish tinge.

Nose

Some citrus remembrances, alongside some fresh herbs -rosemary, fenugreek- and floral remembrances define the nose of this blend of White and Grey Grenache, Muscat, Macabeo and Chardonnay.

Palate

Dry and energetic, this white wine from Martí Fabra has good balance, a crisp acidity and some complexity. Tany finish reminiscent of citrus, bone fruit and Med scrub.

Our personal opinion

Subtle, pleasant and easy to drink, the wine Verd Albera 2023 is a white wine fit for any occasion.

I recommend this wine. This winery keeps a low profile, but produces excellent products. This has good fruit and it is also earthy, softly grassy, and very enjoyable.
