Red Wine Viñas del Vero Gran Vos Reserva 2016
Availability: In stock
Produced in the northern Spanish region of Somontano, the grapes are sorted from several plots located at an altitude of 400 metres above sea level. Soils are composed of sand and limestone.
The grapes were picked by hand from late August to mid September. Then, each variety was separately vinified in stainless steel tanks.
After that, this Spanish red wine was aged in mostly new French oak barrels for a period of 15 months.
Finally, Viñas del Vero Gran Vos Reserva 2016 was gently filtered prior to its bottling and aged for some months in the bottle before its release.
Aerate this red wine from Somontano 30 minutes before drinking.
The red wine Viñas del Vero Gran Vos Reserva is medium purple with a cherry-coloured rim.
Rather complex, with aromas of wild berries, aromatic herbs, liquorice and fennel. This blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot also suggests fine leather, Havanna cigars, roasted coffee and sandalwood.
Fresh and bold, this red wine of Viñas del Vero has velvety tannins and a crisp acidity. This is a fully grown-up wine, pleasant and round. Long finish with a complex aftertaste of red fruit, spices and some earthy remembrances.
