Produced by bodega Javier San Pedro Ortega, a new, cutting-edge winery located in Laguardia, in the heart of La Rioja, the wine Viuda Negra Nunca Jamás is a young varietal Tempranillo briefly aged in oak.
Sourced from low-yielding vines, the grapes were gently destemmed and transferred into 225-litre French oak barrels. Then this Spanish red wine was fermented for 14 days, with 4-5 daily punch-downs and pump-overs.
After that, the red wine Viuda Negra Nunca Jamás 2022 completed malolactic fermentation and was aged for 9 months in those same barrels.
This is an uncomplicated, yummy Crianza red wine.
