A varietal Mencía, the wine Altos de Losada comes from El Bierzo, one of Spain's hottest wine regions.
Classified as "Vino de Villa" (Village wine), this Spanish red wine of Bodegas Losada Vinos de Finca is sourced from vineyards 40 to 60 years of age, planted in clayey hills with different sun orientations. They are located near the village of Valtuille de Arriba, an area with a continental climate.
After a careful harvest, each parcel was separately vinified in stainless steel tanks.
After that, the wine Altos de Losada 2022 was aged for 15 months in concrete eggs, oak vats and French oak barrels.
