Details
A varietal Spanish white wine from DO Cariñena, Aragón, Anayón Chardonnay is produced by the Grandes Vinos y Viñedos winery.
Grown at an altitude of 480 m. above sea level, the Chardonnay grapes, coming from vines over 30 years of age, were meticulously harvested and selected in the cellar.
After a gentle crushing, the "free-run" juice was transferred into American oak barrels, where it completed alcoholic and malolactic fermentation. During the process, Anayón Chardonnay 2021 was stirred three times a week. Finally, it was aged for 6 months in the same barrels, and clarified before bottling.
Pair this white wine from DO Cariñena (which should not be confused with the Cariñena/Carignan grape variety) with white meat dishes and creamy cheeses.
