Situated at 855 metres of altitude and composed of clay soils, the vineyard, called Pago Los Astrales, is planted with 45-year-old vines
Hand-harvested and scrupulously selected, the grapes were fully destemmed and cold macerated before being fermented in stainless steel tanks under controlled temperature.
After that, this red wine from Ribera del Duero was transferred into French oak barrels and aged for a period of 18 months.
Finally, the wine Arrocal Selección Especial 2021 was aged for some months in the bottle before being released onto the market.
