Details
The 2021 vintage of Bàrbara Fores Blanc is a varietal White Grenache, the staple grape variety of DO Terra Alta, Catalonia's southernmost wine region.
It is produced from non-irrigated vineyards located near Gandesa, the capital city of the region.
Harvested by hand, this white wine from Terra Alta of Celler Bàrbara Forés was vinified in a traditional manner.
Before fermentation, it was cold-soaked for 24 hours. After that, alcoholic fermentation of Bàrbara Forés Blanc 2021 took place in stainless steel tanks for over a period of 15 days.
In order to preserve its varietal character, this young white wine was not aged in oak.
