This single vineyard reserva red wine is made from over 50-year-old vines grown in sandy and rocky soils..
Harvested by hand and exactingly selected, the grapes were fermented in stainless steel tanks.
Then, this red wine from Ribera del Duero was transferred into 225-litre new and 2nd year French oak barrels, where it completed malolactic fermentation and was aged for over a period of 24 months.
Produced only in exceptional vintages, the red wine Carmelo Rodero Pago de Valtarreña 2020 is a paragon of quality. All bottles are numbered.

Wonderfully suggestive notes of blackberry liquor, wet undergrowth, tobacco leaves and bitter cocoa, with a deep mineral core. Very long, complex finish. |
