The Casar de Burbia winery from El Bierzo not only produces expressive red wines, but some fairly interesting Spanish white wines as well.
The wine Casar de Burbia Godello is a varietal Godello made from over 30-year-old certified organic vineyards with rocky and slate soils plante at 600 metres of altitude.
Meticulously harvested and selected twice, first at the vineyard and then in the cellar, this organic white wine from El Bierzo was initially cold-soaked to foster the extraction of colour and phenolic compounds.
Gently pressed and fermented in stainless steel tanks for 45 days, the white wine Casar de Burbia Godello 2024 was aged for 8 months on its lees prior to bottling.
Creamy and fresh, this Spanish organic white wine will pair excellently with creamy cheeses, white meat and fish dishes.

This white wine from Casar de Burbia winery has a deeply mineral spinal cord, with an acidity that gives the wine a very attractive character. Long finish, with remembrances of white fruit and, again, some mineral remembrances. |
