Produced by the Castell del Remei winery, Castell del Remei Oda Blanc comes from the northern Catalan region of Costers del Segre.
The wine is made from an almost equal blend of Chardonnay and Macabeo, both coming from estate vineyards.
Each grape variety was separately harvested. Once in the cellar, this Spanish white wine was fermented in American oak barrels, where it was subsequently aged for over a period of 6 months.
During that time, Castell del Remei Oda Blanc 2021 was periodically stirred in order to maximize the contact between the wine and the lees, thus adding creaminess and roundness to the wine.
