Produced by Celler Cesca Vicent, a family-run winery based in DOQ Priorat, the red wine Cesca Vicent is made from local and international varieties.
The two defining varieties are Grenache and Merlot, complemented with Carignan, Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah.The estate-grown grapes are sourced from Mas d'en Corral, an organically certified vineyard with slate soils.
Picked up by hand, the grapes were harvested at their optimal ripening point. Once in the cellar, this red wine from Priorat was first macerated with the skins at a low temperature in stainless steel tanks.
Each variety was then separately fermented for an extended period of time, with daily rackings performed along the process. After that, the red wine Cesca Vicent 2020 was transferred into old French oak barrels, aged for 12 months, and subsequently bottled unfiltered.
We suggest that you aerate this Crianza red wine 20 minutes before drinking.

There is also a note of black fruit, some mineral undertones, and a fleck of spices and red flowers. The Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Carignan and Syrah varieties certainly add complexity. |
| Palate | Smooth and easy-to-drink, this wine of Celler Cesca Vicent is not your typical Priorat. Quite cheerful and very fresh, with an excellent acidity, smooth tannins and a mineral element which neither brooding nor overpowering. Medium-long, uplifting finish. |
