Coming from DO Málaga-Sierras de Málaga, Cortijo Los Aguilares Pago El Espino is a blend of Petit Verdot, Syrah and Tempranillo produced by bodega Cortijo Los Aguilares.
Manually harvested, the organically farmed grapes were refrigerated at 2ºC, meticulously selected and fully destemmed. This red wine from Málaga was fermented in concrete tanks, after which a portion of the wine was transferred into oak barrels. The rest of the wine was kept in the tanks.
Then both went through malolactic fermentantion. Once the process was completed, Cortijo Los Aguilares Pago El Espino 2019 was aged for 15 months in French oak barrels of different sizes.
Pair this Crianza red wine with hearty meat dishes.
