Product Description

The Cava Cygnus Albireo Brut is the entry-level Spanish sparkling wine of bodega U Més U Fan Tres from Penedès.

A blend of the traditional DO Cava varieties, Xarel·lo (35%), Parellada (35%) and Macabeo (30%), the grapes are sourced from certified organic vineyards sitting at 350 metres of altitude.

This blended Brut Cava was traditionally vinified. After completing alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel tanks, the Cava Cygnus Albireo Brut went through secondary fermentation in the bottle and was aged for 12 to 18 months before being disgorged.

The total sugar content of this vegan Cava is 8.5 grams per litre, which makes it just perfect for beginners.

The Cava Cygnus Albireo Brut is pale yellow with some steely reflections.


This blend of Xarel·lo, Parellada and Macabeo is fruit-driven and straightforward, with lively aromas of ripe white pears and Golden Delicious apples, nuanced by remembrances of fine lees and hints of citrus and herbs de Provence.


This Cava of bodega U Més U Fan Tres is fresh, inviting and a tad sweet. Lively mousse and nice acidity, with loads of ripe white fruit and a clean, pithy, medium-long finish.

Our personal opinion

Besides being food-friendly and easy to drink, the Cava Cygnus Albireo Brut is a nicely priced organic and vegan sparkling wine.
