Made from 30 to 60-year-old vineyards, the wine Domus Pensi comes from Batea, a village located the southern Catalan region of Terra Alta.
Produced by the Altavins winery, this Spanish red wine is made from Grenache, Syrah, Merlot and Samsó (Carignan).
The vines are grown in poor soils, in an area with very hot summers and cold winters.
Harvested manually, the grapes were macerated and fermented in stainless steel tanks.
After that, the wine Domus Pensi 2021 was aged for 18 months in French oak barrels. Finally, this red wine from Terra Alta was further aged for 24 months in the bottle.
Decant this Reserva red wine 30-40 minutes before drinking.
