Produced by Bodegas Eguren Ugarte, the wine Eguren Ugarte Crianza is a varietal Tempranillo sourced from 50-year-old vineyards.
Once in the cellar, the grapes were destemmed, fermented and macerated for 10 days in stainless steel tanks using indigenous yeasts. After that, this Spanish red wine was aged in French and American oak barrels for 15 months.
During that period, this red wine from La Rioja was racked every 4 months. Finally, the wine Eguren Ugarte Crianza 2020 was bottled and aged for a further 6 months in the cellar.
This is a savoury and approachable Crianza red wine from the DOCa Rioja.
