This is the new vintage of the wine Espelt ViDiví, made from certified organic vineyards situated in DO Empordà, a Catalan border region constantly swept by a harsh northern wind - also an exceptional natural sanitizing agent - called Tramuntana.
Produced from both local and international grapes, this Spanish red wine is a blend of 80% Lledoner Negre - the local name of Grenache - 10% Merlot, and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon.
The grapes were harvested by hand, fermented and macerated in stainless steel tanks. After that, the red wine Espelt Vidiví 2022 from Celler Espelt was aged in French oak barrels for 12 months.
This blended red wine from L'Empordà is smooth and well-balanced.
