The wine Espelt Sauló is the entry-level red of the Celler Espelt winery.
This Spanish red wine wine made from a traditional blend of Grenache (known in the region as Lledoner Negre) and Carignan, coming from organic vineyards with soils of decomposed granite, known in the region as Sauló.
Produced in the Empordà region, the grapes were harvested at their optimal ripening time.
Once in the cellar, they were crushed and macerated for 36 hours to extract colour and aromas. Afterwards, the wine Espelt Sauló 2023 was fermented in stainless steel tanks.
Finally, this red wine from L'Empordà was aged for 4 months on lees and clarified prior to its bottling.

| Palate | Fresh, accessible and pleasant. This wine from Celler Espelt has smooth tannins, layers of blackberries, strawberries and balsam, and a crisp, refreshing acidity. Medium finish with some remembrances of red fruit. |
