A brand of Grupo La Rioja Alta, Bodega Torre de Oña, the producer of the wine Finca San Martín Crianza, is located in Páganos, near the village of Laguardia, in the very heart of Rioja Alavesa.
A varietal Tempranillo, this Spanish red wine from DOCa Rioja was made exclusively from estate-owned vineyards.
The grapes were picked by hand and traditionally vinified. Destemmed and gently crushed, they were fermented in stainless steel tanks. Then, 60% of the red wine Finca San Martín Crianza 2021 was aged in new American oak barrels, and 40% of it was aged in 3rd year French oak barrels, for over a period of 16 months.
During the process, this red wine from La Rioja was racked 3 times. Finally, it was bottled in May 2024.
Fresh and lively, this is a very versatile Crianza red wine.
