A well-made traditional Spanish red wine from DOCa Rioja, the wine Gómez Cruzado Crianza is produced by the Gómez Cruzado winery.
A blend of 75% Tempranillo and 25% Grenache, it is made from vineyards sitauted in Sierra Cantabria and the Alto and Bajo Najerilla regions.
Hand-picked and selected, the grapes were destemmed and macerated for 3 days. Then this red wine from La Rioja was fermented in truncated cone-shaped stainless steel tanks under controlled temperature, with periodic pump-overs and rack-and-returns.
After that, the red wine Gómez Cruzado Crianza 2022 was transferred into American and French oak barrels, where it was aged for 12 months.
The result is a well-rounded, elegant Crianza red wine.
