Produced by Bodegas A Tapada, the wine Guitian Godello Sobre Lías is a varietal Spanish white wine made solely from Godello grapes sourced from estate vineyards located in DO Valdeorras.
The vines, which are over 30 years of age, were meticulously harvested. Destemmed and gently crushed, the grapes were cold-macerated, pressed and drawn off. After that, they were fermented in stainless steel tanks.
After that, the wine Guitian Godello Sobre Lías 2024 was aged for 6 months in the tanks, with weekly stirrings.
Finally, this white wine from Valdeorras was bottled and aged for a further months before hitting the market.
Elegant and creamy, this white wine aged on lees will pair excellently with fish recipes and creamy cheese.
