Produced by Herència Altés, the wine Herència Altés La Pilosa is a wildly interesting varietal Hairy Grenache from DO Terra Alta, an up-and-coming wine region in southern Catalonia.
This varietal Spanish red wine is produced from certified organic vineyards with limestone soils situated at 350 metres of altitude.
Hand-harvested and carefully selected, once in the cellar the grapes were gently crushed and fermented (15% whole clusters) in concrete tanks under controlled temperature, with daily punch-downs.
Then the red wine Herència Altés La Pilosa 2024 was transferred into one
Before being bottled, this vegan red wine from Terra Alta was gently fined.
We suggest pairing this Crianza red wine with a lamb stew with vegetables. Aerate before drinking.
