Produced in DO Ribera del Duero, Hito (which can be translated as "milestone") is the entry-level Spanish red wine of Bodegas Cepa 21.

This varietal Tempranillo comes from a single vineyard situated in Castrillo de Duero, in the province of Valladolid. The 2021 vintage was considered "Excellent" by the Ribera del Duero regulatory board.

The grapes were carefull harvested, and then this red wine from Ribera del Duero were fermented in stainless steel tanks for a period of 30 days.

After that, Hito 2021 was aged for 8 months in French oak barrels.

Pair this Crianza red wine with Ibérico ham, cold meats o roast recipes.

The red wine Hito is medium purple with a bluish hue.


This is a fresh and expressive Tempranillo from Ribera del Duero. Aromas of black fruit, toast and balsam, with some spicy touches.


This wine from Bodegas Cepa 21 is lively and uncomplicated, with flavours of wild berries, smooth tannins and very good freshness. Crisp, long finish.
