The name of this wine, Infiltrado, is a pun. In spanish, "Infiltrado" means two things: "unfiltered" and "infiltrator".
Made in Jumilla, Murcia, by the Hacienda del Carche winery, this Spanish red wine is a varietal Syrah.
The grapes were cold-soaked and fermented in stainless steel tanks under controlled temperature.
As its name suggests, the red wine Infiltrado 2023 was not filtered. This explains the square-shouldered shape of the bottle. If there is any sediment in this organic and vegan red wine, when you pour it the particles will be deposited there.
This young red wine from Jumilla is fresh and funny. Give it a try!
