Details
The red wine Lan Crianza faithfully embodies the traditions of La Rioja Alta and La Rioja Alavesa.
Made essentially from Tempranillo, this Spanish red wine is complemented with a 5% Grenache and a 2% Mazuela (aka Carignan).
The grapes are sourced from 10 to 20-year-old vineyards with clay-limestone soils located in the very heart of DOCa Rioja.
Hand-harvested, destemmed and crushed, the grapes were fermented in stainless steel tanks under controlled temperature. After that, this red wine from La Rioja was macerated for 15 days with frequent pump-overs to extract colour and tannin.
Then the red wine Lan Crianza 2021 was aged for 14 months in hybrid -French and American- oak barrels.
Finally, this Crianza red wine was further aged for 9 months in the bottle before hitting the market.
