Made from vineyards over 45 years old, the wine Luis Cañas Selección de la Familia Reserva is one of the top-shelf wines of the Luis Cañas winery.
Made mostly from Tempranillo (85%), this Spanish red wine is complemented with a 15% of Cabernet Sauvignon.
Once destemmed, they were cold-macerated and fermented under low temperature in stainless steel tanks.
Then this Reserva red wine from La Rioja was transferred into French and American oak barrels, where it completed malolactic fermentation and was aged for 20 months.
Finally, the wine Luis Cañas Selección de la Familia Reserva 2020 was delicately filtered and aged for a further 24 months in the cellar.
