The wine Luis Cañas Crianza is crafted almost entirely from Tempranillo, with just a droplet of Grenache. The grapes come from 30-year-old vineyards.
After a meticulous harvest, the vinification process of this Spanish red wine was carried out in a traditional manner.
First, the grapes were destemmed, crushed and cold-macerated for about 3 weeks. Once alcoholic fermentation was completed, this Crianza red wine from Bodega Luis Cañas was aged for 12 months in French (60%) and American (40%) oak barrels.
Finally, the red wine Luis Cañas Crianza 2022 from La Rioja was aged for an additional 12 months in the bottle to round its texture.
This vegan red wine from La Rioja is an amazing value.
