Details
The wine Nosso was the very first low-sulfites white wine made by bodega Menade from DO Rueda.
Made solely from Verdejo (aka Verdeja), this Spanish white wine is sourced from vineyards with clay- limestone and rocky soils peppered with pebbles.
The vines are certified organic and tended with mimimal intervention techniques, using no sulfur or copper.
After completing alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel tanks, this white wine from Rueda went through a spontaneous malolactic fermentation. After being drawn-off, the white wine Nosso 2024 was kept for 2-3 months on lees.
It was bottled with no added sulfites and kept in the cellar for some months before hitting the market.
