Produced by the O Luar do Sil winery, the wine O Luar do Sil Godello comes from DO Valdeorras. The winery belongs to the Rodero Villa family, owners of the well-known Pago de los Capellanes winery in Ribera del Duero.
This varietal Spanish white wine was sourced from Godello vineyards planted in slate and granite soils on the banks of the Sil river.
Harvest took place during the first half of September. The grapes were fully destemmed, refrigerated to keep their aromatic qualities intact, and macerated for 4 hours. After that, they were pressed and fermented in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature.
Then the wine O Luar do Sil Godello 2025 was drawn-off and transferred back into the tanks, where it was kept for a short time before its bottling.
Fresh and honest, this young white wine has a mineral profile which makes it quite appealing.
