Details

A unique Spanish dessert wine that is sweet and produced in a traditional fashion with a special touch of orange. This wine from Condado de Huelva has been crafted from the very unique varietals found in this region—Zalema and Pedro Ximénez—as well as oranges from the local farms of Doñana. This was one of the first regions to craft such sweet wines.

The first maceration process last for eight (8) years in specially designed pots alongside sun-dried orange peels.

Par Vino Naranja is a perfect sweet wine for desserts, after dinner, to add a unique aftertaste to a fine meal, or to enjoy alone. This wine by Iglesias winery is also used a lot in the world of cocktails. Everyone should try this wine after a nice meal with chocolate. It is a delightfully decadent pleasure.

Appearance

This dessert wine Par Vino Naranja has a brilliant and beautiful mahogany orange color with amber reflections.

Nose Intense and persistent. Very expressive orange sensations are very slightly bitter and entwined with unique aromatics gained from the grape varietals of this wine. There are also aromas of dates, figs, and dry fruits.
Palate The palate of this wine is warm, lingering, syrupy, and sweet. Very well-balanced. With a pleasant sweetness that is not oversweet. Oranges are very present alongside subtle notes of wood. The finish is persistent.
Our personal opinion
