This is the much anticipated 2024 vintage - the best thus far - of the red wine Pedrabona, made by Josep Grau Viticultor in DOQ Priorat .
This Spanish red wine is an equal blend of Grenache and Carignan, sourced from low-yielding vineyards with slate soils planted in 1910 near Gratallops. Vineyard management follows the guidelines of organic farming.
The grapes were hand-harvested and selected on site and in the cellar. Alcoholic fermentation was carried out in Stockinger Austrian oak vats and open-top barrels.
After that, the wine Pedrabona 2024 was aged for 9 in the said containers. It was not filtered or clarified before being bottled in July 2025.
Decant this Priorat red wine 1 hour before drinking.
9,500 bottles produced.

| Palate | This wine of Josep Grau Viticultor is energetic and transparent, withs aromas of forest berries and sour cherries, liquorice and violets, a lively acidity and some powdery tannins. Long finish with some dim mineral overtones and notes of flowers and roadside herbs. |
