Volador Negre 2023 Magnum
Made from vines situated near Marçà, the wine Volador Negre Magnum is a 1.5 litre Spanish red wine from DO Montsant.
The wine is a blend of Grenache, Samsó (a.k.a. Carignan) & Syrah, sourced from young vineyards planted in slate and sauló soils.
Made by Josep Grau Viticultor, the grapes were manually harvested and brought to the cellar in little boxes. After a careful selection, they were partially destemmed and subsequently fermented with indigenous yeasts in concrete vats and stainless steel tanks.
After that, the red wine Volador Negre 2023 Magnum was aged for 5 months in those same containers.
Finally, this young red wine was stored for a few months before hitting the market.
