The wine Petit Baldomà Negre is the entry-level product of the Vall de Baldomar winery, situated in the Catalan province of Lleida, DO Costers del Segre.
This blended Spanish red wine is made from Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon, coming from vineyards grown in clay-limestone soils at an altitude of 500 meters above sea level.
The vinification of the wine Petit Baldomà Negre 2024 followed the usual methods, with prolonged skin maceration and subsequent fermentation at a controlled temperature.
After that, this red wine from Costers del Segre was aged for 2 months in 1st and 2nd year central European oak barrels.
This is a very versatile young red wine.
