The exquisitely crafted Rimarts Uvae Brut Nature is the top product of the Rimarts winery, a family-run business that produces fine artisan sparklers in the heart of Penedès.
It was produced following the traditional method and the guidelines established by the Cava DO.
As for the vinification, the Chardonnay grapes were fermented in oak barrels, and the Xarel.lo in steel tanks.
Then the wine was bottled, completed secondary fermentation and was aged for a minimum of 60 months in the cellar.
This Rimarts Uvae Brut Nature Gran Reserva 2009 has its disgorging date printed on the back label. All bottles are numbered.

The Cava Rimarts Uvae Brut Nature has a clean, bright, intense straw yellow colour with some golden tinges.
Balance, complexity and sophistication: this blend of Xarel·lo and Chardonnay from Penedès has it all. Remembrances of fine lees, combined with notes of pastry and butter, some hints of aromatic herbs, quince and honey, a dash of flowers and dry fruit and a suprising peppery tone.
Bold and deep, this Gran Reserve Brut Nature Cava by the Rimarts winery has a creamy, delicate body and seductive, tiny bubbles. Some balsamic notions, remembrances of French patisserie, nuances of Mediterranean garrigue, dry fruit and white flowers, a touch of citrus and some slightly bitter nuances. Fresh and lively, with an excellent acidity and a long, complex finish.
