The prestigious winemaker Raül Bobet crafts this remarkable Spanish white wine right on the foothills of the Catalan Pyrenées, amidst an unspoiled natural environment.
Varietal of Sauvignon Blanc, the wine Taleia is made from vines grown at an altitude around 1,000 metres above sea level, in poor, calcareous soils which bring the wine a distinctive, zesty minerality.
Produced by the Castell d'Encús winery, the grapes were carefully harvested and selected.
After that, the wine was fermented in new French oak barrels, stainless steel tanks and stone vats dating from the XIIth century.
Then half of the white wine Taleia 2021 from Costers del Segre was aged in oak barrels for 6 months. Finally, it was kept for over 2 years in the cellar prior to its release.
Decant this white wine from Costers del Segre some time before drinking.
