Product Description
Details

Produced by bodega Finca Torremilanos, the first Demeter-certified winery in DO Ribera del Duero, Torre Albéniz Reserva is a compelling Spanish red wine.

Made essentially from Tempranillo, this red wine from Ribera del Duero is nuanced with a just a dollop (3%) of Tempranillo Blanco.

The grapes are sourced from over 60-year-old vineyards grown in the biodynamically farmed Finca Torremilanos estate -not an easy task, considering that Finca Torremilanos has 200 hectares of vineyards.

Hand-picked and carefully selected, the grapes were first macerated for 12 days in stainless steel tanks, oak barrels and concrete diposits. After that, this organic red wine was fermented with indigenous yeasts.

After that, the red wine Torre Albéniz Reserva 2018 was transferred into French oak barrels, where it was aged for 24 months.

Finally, this reserva red wine was bottled and aged for a further months before hitting the market.

It is important to decant this biodynamic red wine 1 hour before drinking.
