The wine Trasnocho is a prime example of a Rioja red wine made in a New World style.
This exceptional Spanish red wine from La Rioja is made from 94% Tempranillo and 6% Graciano, sourced from low-yielding, 60+-year-old vines.
Selected both in the vineyard and in the cellar, the grapes were first cold-macerated at a temperature of 4-6ºC for 24 hours in specially designed tanks. After that, they were fermented in stainless steel tanks.
Then this Reserva red wine was transferred into French oak barrels, where it went through malolactic fermentation and was subsequently aged for a period of 17 months..
We suggest that you decant the red wine Trasnocho 2019 of the Remírez de Ganuza winery some time before drinking.

| Nose | Rich and opulent, this Tempranillo with a smidgen of Graciano conveys remembrances of crème de cassis, blackcurrants and blackberries, underscored by Eastern spices and hints of underbrush, cocoa, fine leather, flowers and dry earth. |
| Palate | Expressive and creamy, with wonderfully balanced notions of fruit and spices, intertwined with suggestions of withered leaves, sweet spices, pipe tobacco, undergrowth and flowers. This red wine from bodega Remírez de Ganuza has some silky tannins, a rock-solid acidity and a very long, memorable finish. |
