Details

The legendary Veuve Clicquot La Grande Dame is one of the most prestigious vintage Champagnes produced in AOC Champagne.

Considered "Exceptional" by winemaker Didier Mariotti, the 2015 vintage is an unusual blend of 90% Pinot Noir and 10% Chardonnay

The first variety was sourced from Grand Cru vineyards mosty located in Montagne de Reims. As for the Chardonnay grapes, they come from the very best Crus in Côte des Blancs.

Exquisitely vinified, Veuve Clicquot La Grande Dame 2015 was aged for more than 6 years on lees before hitting the market.

Produced by Maison Veuve Clicquot Ponsardin, this Prestige Cuvée Champagne is one-of-a-kind.

Appearance

The Champagne Veuve Clicquot La Grande Dame Brut is medium yellow with some bright amber tinges.

Nose

Astoundingly precise and immensely refined, this blend of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay suggests aromas of ripe apricots, pears and nougat, with dim mineral remembrances and hints of vanilla, ripe almonds and jasmine.

Palate

Lifted, fresh and phenomenally smooth, this Champagne from Vueve Clicquot Ponsardin has a lush, dreamy texture, a laser-like focus and some microscopic, palate-caressing bubbles. Effortless and lively, with a long, velvety finish.

Our personal opinion

A world-class sparkling wine, Veuve Clicquot La Grande Dame 2015 is simply majestic.
