Produced by the prestigious Compañía Vinícola del Norte de España (CVNE), the red wine Viña Real Crianza is made from 90% Tempranillo, complemented with Mazuela (Carignan), Grenache and Graciano.
The DOCa Rioja regulatory board officially qualified the 2020 vintage as "Very Good."
The grapes were manually harvested, destemmed and cold-macerated to preserve their aromatic compounds. Then this Spanish red wine was fermented in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature.
After the completion of malolactic fermentation, the wine Viña Real Crianza 2020 was transferred into American and French oak barrels, where this vegan wine was aged for 14 months.
We suggest pairing this Rioja red wine with red meat dishes and stews.
