Priorat D&B Lab

The origins of the Priorat B&D Lab project go back to the late XXth century, when Mr. Alex Illa, a professional with a long experience in the alcoholic beverage trade, bought an old cellar located in Bellmunt del Priorat with the aim of starting his own spirit company.

Located in the heart of the DOQ Priorat, one of Spain's most prestigious wine regions, the Priorat B&D Lab distillery has developed its own formulas to produce a variety of vermouths and spirits made with high-quality and locally sourced ingredients – whenever possible. - An eye-catching German built state- of-the-art Müller Brennereianlage still lies in the middle of the working room, which is also equipped with demijohns, truncated cone-shaped diposits and oak barrels.

A quality-oriented and innovation-driven project, the product catalogue of the Priorat B&D Lab distillery is mainly comprised of vermouths from Priorat, marketed under the Dos Déus label. The most interesting spirit is Mina Ratafia de Magnòlies, a sweet liqueur made following a unique local formula from the village of Bellmunt del Priorat that has been passed down through generations.
