Crucifix Père et Fils

Crucifix Père et Fils

A family-run winery that produces exquisite grower Champagnes.

Founded in 1940 by the married couple André Grabriel and Paule Potier, the Champagnes from Maison Crucifix Père et Fils were marketed under the name of Gabriel Potier until 2005, when Sébastien Potier created the Crucifix brand. His aim was to combine the traditional know-how of the Champagne region with an environmentally conscious, sustainable approach to winemaking.

The vineyards of Maison Crucifix Père et Fils are located in Montagne de Reims, a region of the Avenay-Val d'Or Commune belonging to the AOC Champagne. Composed of clay-limestone soils, and planted with the traditional Champagne varieties Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, some of the vineyards are classified as Premier Cru. Vines are 25 or 35 years old on average.

Maison Crucifix Père et Fils produces non vintage and vintage grower champagnes. Virtually a boutique winery, production is around 30.000 bottles per year.
