The Mas Foraster winery is one of the best ambassadors for the Conca de Barberà D.O. of Spain.

The Mas Foraster winery is situated in the Conca de Barberà D.O. of Spain inside of Tarragona. This winery is well-known for the incomparable beauty of their terroir and the architecture of their facilities.    

Mas Foraster is a family winery that crafts all of their wines from the native grape varietal, Trepat. These grapes are cultivated utilizing integrated agricultural techniques giving absolute respect to the vines and the environment without any desire to increase grape yields at the reduction of their quality. As a result this winery produces a limited quantity of grapes and therefore all of their produces are produces in very limited quantities.

The Mas Foraster winery has 34 hectares of Trepat grapevines situated in the sunny sloping hills of the Conca de Barbera at over 1,200 feet (370 meters) above sea level. All of the grapes cultivated at this winery are harvested by hand and transferred to the winery in small 44 pound (20 Kg) boxes for their selection process to ensure that the arrive at the winery at the highest quality possible.
